Gold Guard is a solvent based protection system specifically designed for corrosion resistance. After application, the solvent evaporates and leaves a soft waxy film on metal which is highly protective and won’t accumulate disruptively from repeated reapplication. When Gold Guard is put into storage, the soft waxy film will transform into a non-evaporating, hard waxy film over the course of 3-4 weeks.
After the course of another few weeks, it will continue to harden and cure into a durable coat not unlike Cosmoline, but unlike Cosmoline, it can be easily removed with CLP if desired. This film is similar to the modern military Cosmoline replacements that are used for long term storage of tanks and other equipment.
Gold Guard is designed to offer very high protection levels against salt, sweat, rain, floods and humidity with the advantage that the film won’t evaporate. Its design also enables extended long storage times and a few unique applications. From EDC to long term storage, Gold Guard is ready to protect your collection. The solvent used is a purified mineral spirit with no odor, and a slow evaporation rate to allow usage in small rooms without headaches or health concerns. In terms of material compatibility, it is free from any aggressive or harmful solvents that could potentially weaken or harm plastics, polymers or woods. Suggested use is to lube internal components with Nano Gun Oil Universal, and apply Gold Guard to external surfaces only on firearms that may see use. For long term storage, Gold Guard offers phenomenal bore protection, but ensure the bore is clean, clear of any buildup or obstruction, and safe for use before removing it from storage.

Designated Gun Oil
Nano Gun Oil Universal is a high-performance gun oil made in Germany, striving for perfection in all major fields, while maintaining multiple unique benefits unlike any other gun oil. It’s a full synthetic, Polyalphaolefin based gun oil free from any kind of evaporating solvents. The gun oil features a high viscosity with an incredible number of floating premium dry lubricants, which assist the primary oil in functionality in a way traditional firearm lubricants cannot. It contains a mixture of ceramics and non-ceramics that benefit each other and the base oil, all working together to achieve an optimal level of friction reduction. It may also be used to protect fine knives; the additive combination is stain free and protects steel from discoloration!
